New on the vacation rental market. One of Charleston's best vacation houses, 132 Charleston Boulevard was renovated by Stephen Herlong. This classic beach house is located within walking distance of the Boat House and Breach Inlet. The home has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Home and Garden and Pottery Barn. From the moment you arrive you will love the charm of the coastal décor and furnishings. You might think you are staying on Sullivan's Island with tongue and grooved finishing's, ceilings and walls. Located in the quiet area of the Isle of Palms, the house sits on a large street to street lot in between Charleston Boulevard and Ocean Boulevard.

The foyer reveals the character of the home with bead board ceilings and walls. A large dining area with room for 12. The first of two living areas is adjacent to the dining room and has a comfortable sofa and several rattan pillowed chairs. You will love the sun porch with views to the pool and warm tiles, bead board ceilings and comfortable wicker club chairs. The screen porch will probably be your favorite spot in the house with pastel ceilings, porch swing, wicker chaise lounge and views of the pool.

Kitchen's make the house. This one is amazing. Large and well equipped with a bead board vaulted ceiling. 10 ft. marble topped center island with room for six bar stools and an appliance package with wine cooler, subzero glass refrigerator, 5 Star double oven 6 burner range. The kitchen also boasts a farmhouse table with seating for 8. A bonus is the keeping room open to the kitchen with 4 upholstered club chairs and great views of the pool area. Speaking of pools this one's deep. 9.5ft in the deep end. Lots of comfortable padded chaise lounges to catch those summer rays. An elevated sun deck sits under the palm trees and give shade to those that relax and catch a nap with the cool ocean breeze. The beach access is directly across the street and right out the back gate. Couldn't be any easier to get the family to the ocean.

The first floor also has a kids bedroom with two twin beds and an on suite bath with shower. The mother in law suite is attached just off the study and offers 2 full beds, half bath and private balcony. The master suite is located on the second floor. The large king bedroom is bright and white with tongue and grooved ceilings, custom doors, wall mounted tv and large windows. The suite offers a separate walk in shower and toilet area and a large dressing area with platform soaking tub. The private sun deck is located off the master suite with great views of the pool and ocean.

Lower level could be the kid's favorite spot. A large living area with foosball table, sectional sofa, game table, large screened tv and doors that open onto the pool deck. An additional two bedrooms (one King and one full) are located on this level with a full bath featuring a large soaking tub and walk in shower. Parking is ample with room for 6 cars. The location could not be better with walking distance to the Boathouse restaurant and breech inlet. Strictly nonsmoking and no pets allowed. Vacation rentals only in the summer weekly minimum stay required. Saturday Checkin.
